The lecturers had painstakingly incorporated conveniences into the programme for learners e.g. research had already been undertaken and core reading suggested, saving me a lot of time and effort. The Legal, Regulatory and Ethical issues relevant to the teaching and training profession were continually reiterated e.g. the lecturers seized opportunities at every turn to demonstrate their impact and importance, and most importantly the consequences of noncompliance. Thanks to the course and in particular the exemplary manner in which it was delivered. Having signed up to the distance learning course and receiving the course material my initial reaction was, “Oh dear! I do not think I can do this.” However, a few days later, after my tutor Phenil guided me through the material and provided structured feedback and guidance I was in the final phase…the all important practical teaching session. I headed to Harrow and joined the in-house training class. Phenil and the group were very welcoming and the day went great. The tutor feedback is first class. The material is hard to work out at first but, becomes easier as you progress through the course. The only drawback was the travel to Harrow. However, this was mainly down to the motorways and not the facilities on site. Great course, great tutor. Thanks.
